"Continuing questions will remain over Sir Ian Blair" - Tope

Speaking after the meeting of the Metropolitan Police Authority today that voted down a motion of no confidence in the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Sir Ian Blair, Graham Tope MPA member and Police spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats at the London Assembly said:

"This vote doesn't mean there won't be continuing questions about Sir Ian remaining as Commissioner.

"We must hope that these questions don't divert attention from all the important things that must be done to make London a safer place to live, work or visit."
