Liberal Democrats announce list candidates for the 2008 London Assembly elections4.05.09pm BST (GMT +0100) Fri 1st Jun 2007 The London region of the Liberal Democrats last night announced the eleven candidates who are to stand in the list section for the London Assembly elections in May 2008. 4 Jeremy Ambache 5 Geoff Pope 6 Ben Abbotts 7 Stephen Knight 8 Shas Sheehan 9 Duncan Borrowman 10 Monica Whyte 11 Merlene Emerson Two of the current Liberal Democrat London Assembly members, Sally Hamwee and Graham Tope did not stand for re-selection.
